Vesper

Privacy policy

Updated September 25, 2026

Vesper runs social media promotion for creators. This covers the Vesper app, which shows a creator how that promotion is doing, and the link pages we make for creators.

What we collect

  • Your sign-in email. We set up your login for you. There is no sign-up in the app. Your password is stored hashed, never as plain text.
  • Your photo, if you add one. If you pick a profile photo in the app, it is uploaded to us and shown in your app. The app only gets the photo you pick, not the rest of your photo library.
  • Your accounts’ numbers. Views, likes, comments, shares and followers for the social media accounts we run for you, and pictures of those posts. These are public numbers. To read them, and to bring your own public posts into Vesper, we use ScrapeCreators, TikHub and FxTwitter, which only get your public handles and post links.
  • Visits to your link page. How many people opened your link page and tapped its links, with the time, the kind of device, the country and the website they came from. We don’t store visitors’ IP addresses or anything else that identifies them.

What stays on your phone

Your settings (the name the app calls you, its look, your weekly reminder) and a copy of your latest numbers, so the app opens quickly. Face ID, and finding your face so a photo crop starts centred, happen on your iPhone. We never receive face data, only the cropped photo you choose. Deleting the app removes all of this.

Why we collect it

To run your promotion and show you how it is doing. That’s all. The app has no ads and no analytics or tracking tools, and we don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers.

Who sees it

You, and the Vesper team who look after your accounts. The team can see your app the way you see it, so they can help you.

Our data is stored with Supabase, which also handles sign-in, and our website and link pages are hosted by Vercel. Copies of the clips we post for you are stored with Cloudflare. To write the captions for your posts, we send still frames from your clips to Anthropic, whose AI model, Claude, writes them. Your invite email is sent by Resend, and the pictures of your posts are made on Google Cloud.

These companies hold or handle it for us, under contracts that require them to protect it at least as well as this policy does. We don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as you work with us. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your login and any photos you uploaded within 30 days of your request. We keep a record of the posts we made for you and their numbers for our own business records, no longer linked to a login.

Deleting your account

You can ask at any time. Here’s how.

Age

The app is only for creators we work with, all 18 or over. It isn’t meant for anyone under 18.
